I hardly remember anything about playing with Barbie dolls besides cutting their hair and then regretting it. Whether I was channeling my inner Sally Hershberger (doubtful) or just being a destructive kid remains up for debate, but in the meantime, tell me...

I had this Barbie with really beautiful silky hair and I crimped it! After that it felt disgusting!

i had a few of those barbies where the hair velcroed to the back of its head so you could cut it and then put a new 'hair piece' thing back on:) i also cut normal barbies' hair when i needed another boy barbie and all the kens were in use. i just realized how weird that is. i had waaay too many barbies.

haha, I did cut the hair on a few of them, just because :) but I loved their long hair, so a lot of them got to keep their blonde locks!

I never considered cutting their hair, but I did give her some lovely lingerie - painted on with frosted seashell pink nail polish.

omigosh, my sister and i were the worst. we would pretend to be our mom's stylist carolyn and chop their hair into shreds. my mom was always really upset because our vacuum cleaner wasn't the best at picking up barbie's stringy hair.

Cut and colored with my mothers mascara. She would always wonder why there were hairs in her mascaras LOL!

when i was in 4th grade I used to cut off the heads and arms and legs of the Happy Meal Barbie toys. I'd keep them in a container labeled "Body Parts." If the body was solid plastic, I'd smash it with a sledge hammer in the garage. Yeah, don't ask.

Yep, cut her hair and my finger and had to have quite a few stitches, so how's that for regret, haa haa haa.

Yes - I also gave them braids and coloured in their hair with magic markers. Then I remember being really, really sad that I did all that because they definitely were not pretty anymore after my "makeover."

I never had a Barbie, but... well... I still have scars from giving the family cat a "haircut." I did that when I was two... I'm now 21.

I never cut my Barbie's hair because they were so precious to me although I used to brush her curly hair and found out that this ruins the hair. It made me so sad that her perfect hair became ruined! But I did cut the hair of my two Japanese Barbie-like dolls. They didn't have boobs so I thought a short hair would be better for them just like mine was and I didn't have boobs back then as well heh! I also did their make-up and they looked like witches after! Ohhh the memories...

I chopped off my ballerina Barbie's hair and I too got creative with the magic markers in her hair. Hadn't thought of that for years. :)

I said no, because technically I cut SKIPPER'S hair (remember her?)....she had a sort of bob thing that at the time I thought was cool but in retrospect probably made her look like a mental patient. :P I never cut Barbie's hair, but I made clothes for her all the time and tried to dye it blue more than once, and often braided it. (all with varying degrees of success).
