Did You Stay Out in the Sun Too Long This Weekend?

There's a certain allure to spending an entire day outside . . . especially on a holiday. Quite often, I fight the urge to ditch work and squeeze into my too-tight Speedo when I wake up. (Umm, kidding.) Anyway, staying covered under the sun's rays is important, but clearly it wasn't for this roasted guy. Whether you roamed out of town to catch some rays or got stuck under the sun more than you planned, how did you handle the (hopefully) warm weather over the weekend?

I was in Vegas for the long weekend. Was looking forward to the sun and chlorine but I only had about an hour to swim and tan--not nearly enough!

It was overcast and/or raining all weekend. This spring has been unusually rainy, as a matter of fact. It's like the rain followed me when I moved home from the Pacific Northwest.

I went to the Venice Boardwalk this wknd. I wore a shirt with an odd neck line, so now I have this horrible sunburn on my chest that looks like someone burned me with an iron. :(

Ooh! That pic is just terrible. Anyways, I got just enough playing volleyball at the beach Sat. afternoon. And I had my SPF 55 on, too! :)

I looooove this picture! Bwahahahaha!! There was no sun where I was this weekend. Actually a few days of rain. On Memorial Day I ran a 10K and attended a tribute to those that have served, as soon as the fighter jets did a flyover the skies opened up and I was soaked.

my aunt came over to visit my neighbor (my neighbors are my grandparent)and we sat outside for a few hours, i tried to stay in the shade. i live in Los Angeles and its almost always really hot here so i try to avoid the sun as much as possible.

I stayed out a little too much yesterday. We went rock crawling all day out in the mountains, but I had a great time and only one of my shoulders is fried. ;)

We had beautiful weather this weekend, but I only went out during the evenings so I didn't get to enjoy the sun...Around my house, I can't enjoy the sun because my yard has too much shade.
