Do You Appreciate Haute Couture Hair?
At yesterday's beautiful Chanel haute couture show, models wore hairdresser Katsuya Kamo's intricately designed paper accessories on their heads. True to Chanel's heritage, they were either black or white, and many incorporated the house's signature camellia flower. I thought these details added a sense of fantasy to the clothing, but I have friends who prefer the more wearable hairstyles of ready-to-wear fashion shows. In general, do you like one approach more than the other?
