Do You Ever Wear Kids' Hair Accessories?

You might use men's products and you may even use baby products, but do you ever dabble with kid stuff? I'm talking hair accessories. While some kids' headbands may be a bit too tight for our adult heads, other finds, like this Gap Flower Ponytail Holder ($5), are cute. And if you have short hair, a mini-sized barrette or bobby pin can actually come in quite handy. Are you a kid at heart, or do you choose to leave the youthful accessories to the youth of today?

I don't, my hair is too thick for even some grown up accessories. Plus, while the one pictured is fine, most are too cutesy to look appropriate on an adult.

No. I actually do not care for hair accessories aside from certain headbands and vintage clips. All I might use is a brunette-tone bobby pin, a hair band and a large tooth/clawed clip for the lazy weekend at home.

I only wear kids' hair accessories. They're colorful and cute and a lot cheaper. Love the H&M selection!

It depends on what they look like. I like the more understated, classy hair accessories, so I put the same kind in my daughter's hair. We share :) It's usually just a simple headband or a cute hair elastic, but I do like some kids hair accessories!

From time to time :) I bought this cheap rose ponytail holder off ebay (http://img.auctiva.com/imgdata/1/2/8/4/5/7/1/webimg/344385513_tp.jpg) and I think it's lovely and perfectly acceptable. I didn't think it was kiddy at all though until that example reminded me of my rose ponytail holder. Occasionally I'll wear those little bow pins too. Call me ridiculous but they're cute and they add pop to a plain outfit. :shrug:

I like little girl hair accessories... I had this barrette with pink flowers on it and I'd always get compliments when I wore it. on it. But I'm a college student, so I in response to bobbysgeel, perhaps I won't be wearing those when I'm let's say, 35, and working with patients in a hospital, they might not take me too seriously...

All the time! I've got short curly (unruly) hair and find that 'adult' hair accessories are too big and overwhelm my hairstyle and that kids ones are perfect.

This is a pet peeve of mine! Women wearing bows or baby barrettes in their hair looks rediculous! Next thing you know they'll come out with Dora & Barbie thong underwear....sheesh!
