Suffering is relative, isn't it. Beauty is work and sometimes pain.

errrm, no. i think most of the painful activities can make you marginally prettier, but never more beautiful. moreover, the most beautiful people i know have never plucked, waxed or otherwise suffered in order to look how they do

I hate to tell you ladies....it only gets worse as you get older. Hairs grow from weird places that you must get rid of. Feet become ugly and calloused from all of those years of high heels. Teeth get stained and thin and break just from living. I'm telling you, getting older is not for sissies!

let me think, waxing, plucking, exercise, dental work and the worst of all, plastic surgery can hurt! that aside, we don't need all these things to be beautiful, but we live in a society that tells us otherwise.
