Do You Shower With Your Significant Other?

Lately, this is a topic that has surfaced more frequently than I care to admit. You see, Mr. Bella has taken an informal survey of various friends and co-workers to find out if showering together gets a thumbs up or a thumbs down. Many people agree that it's a no-no because someone always ends up shivering on the non-water flowing side and/or it's just too slippery or time consuming for it to be any fun.

On the affirmative end, others think it's romantic, sexy, and a great way to get those hard-to-reach areas washed. So, what do you think? Whether you're single or in a relationship, do you like a shower buddy or do you prefer to go solo?

Definitely yes! We only have a small shower at home which actually makes it more uncomfortable than not. But we love the togetherness :).

I used to think it would be cute and sexy all the time but now that I live with my bf :ponder: not so much.He'll jump in with me sometimes in the morning when I just want to do a quick in and out, but you can't shower that quickly with a man the size of a linebacker blocking all the hot water. I prefer to co shower when I am not in a rush or on time constraints.

Not all the time but on occasion! Once in a very old house we were renting for a few months the hot water heater didn't work worth anything. We had about 10 min hot water total. Needless to say, we shared showers for about 6 months so that we could both have hot water! LoL

I grew up in a drought-prone country, so sharing showers with family members (to save water) was totally natural. Living in North America, shower-time with my man is more sexy than practical...but bath-time must be mine-all-mine - time to relax & reflect solo.

We sometimes shower together, but whenever we do, we always end up fighting over the hot water. It's kind of funny, because he's so much taller than I am, so he blocks all the water and I'm standing there shivering. In the summer, we do it a lot more often.

Every day. We have a shower that has two shower heads and it is a big open area, probably 7'x8'. It's nice we get to talk and nobody is left in the cold.

When we get the chance we do. But we prefer sharing a bath, just cause we can lounge about and no one is without water.

This is a funny topic for me. I almost NEVER shower alone when my husband is home (he travels for a living). If he's already showered that day he'll get in with me and just stand in the corner. Sometimes I want my privacy but most of the time it's endearing.

My hubby takes steamy boiling showers. I prefer cool water. I feel like I have to take another shower after I shower with him because I feel like I have been sweating from the steam in the shower.

When you build a house or redo a bathroom it is GREAT to put 2 showerheads in the shower. No one gets cold! And even when you aren't feeling amorous, it's still a GREAT time saver and great way to catch up on things!

We've been together 17 years and in the beginning, we showered together a lot. Then we decided that for the sake of practicality, we'd each get clean on our own time, for reasons others have mentioned. In fact, we each have our own bathrooms/showers but we meet up in his since we share the handle of the electric toothbrush :)Now, if it's not a "shower to get clean" but a "shower to have fun" that's another story!! ;)
