Do You Snoop in Other People's Medicine Cabinets?

Most of you said that you do indeed hide beauty items from guests to help savor the good stuff for yourself, and this got me to thinking. Since we're spilling the beans here, what do you have to say for yourself when it comes to peeping at other people's medicine cabinets? I seem to recall reading somewhere that certain sneaky hostesses will set up booby traps — like carefully-placed marbles — to catch the snooper in the act. It's your time to confess: when you're off visiting friends or acquaintances, do you let your curiosity get the best of you, or do you keep that cabinet door shut?

I don't, but, like others, I look through the bottles of perfume/skincare that are sitting out on the counter.

Personally, I think it's rude to snoop, but I also fear that someone might set a trap for nosey guests, so I never snoop!

No I've never been interested enough in what others have in their cabinets not to mention the huge invasion of privacy being nosy and snooping through personal items is. It's no one's business.It's tacky....period.

where i live, people wouldn't keep anything they didnt want anybody to see in the medicine cabinet anyway! so i wouldnt bother lol

I do the exact same thing as miss leanne...I leave the medicine cabinets alone, but if I´m at a friend´s house and their make-up bag is conveniently open, I can´t stop myself from looking through it...

Wow, it's never occurred to me to look through someone else's medicine cabinet, and it's also never occurred to me to hide my stuff from guests! Actually going so far as to set booby traps sounds a little paranoid to me . . .

I don't go near medicine cabinets, but I am guilty of seeing what kind of beauty products they have. Only if they're sitting out though.

nope, but i've caught ple snooping in mine or the aftermath of their snooping -- i'm one of those people who knows instantly who's been in their room

Never! It's rude to intrude on a host's privacy. My mom would give me a lecture of a lifetime if I did that.

i snoop through girls' skincare, not the medicine. i'm always on the look out for new things.

I once snooped and all I found was cotton balls. I learned that there was never anything interesting in peoples medicine cabinets.

I snoop pretty much in everyone's medicine cabinet. I'll probably get caught someday, be massively embarrassed, and stop :P

I did look through cabinets at my friend's place the other day. I needed ibuprofen and he was still sleeping. However, I wouldn't really call it "snooping".

nope, never. I have never really cared what people keep in their medicine cabinets.
