Do You Use Baby Powder?

Perhaps you use baby products like shampoos, lotions, and oils, but do you douse yourself with baby powder from head to toe? To this day, my mom still uses baby powder post-bath — although she still hasn't quite mastered the art of not leaving behind a white dust outline, much to dad's dismay. Whether it's a talc-free formula, or good old Johnson's, which you could place in this vintage tin ($12), do you sprinkle on the white stuff?

I can't stand the smell of baby powder so I don't use it. My mom used to use some scented avon powders when I was younger and they were fun but I don't really feel the need to powder myself up.

I carry around a bottle to use for dry shampoo. I recently started doing it and it has saved me time in the morning, by showering at night and powdering mid-day the next day (I have very oily hair).

I use it as a dry shampoo....I have dark hair as well, but I put it in before bed, and then by the morning it's soaked in/fallen out enough that it's no longer visibly white, and I just brush my hair and it's fine - obviously I don't use a lot but I just put it on my brush and brush it through. It works better than any dry shampoo I've bought.

this stuff is great if you're prone to getting yeast infections! and it keeps you feeling very fresh all day.

My husband and I both use it during the summer... we live in VA (if you couldn't guess from the name...) and it get so humid here that you can just about swim when you step outside. I get itchy heat sometimes during the summer and baby powder helps keep things dry so my skin can heal up.

What are you supposed to use it for??? Clearly it doesn't work as a dry shampoo, I have dark hair. Wouldn't even work as a skin product, as I have dark skin. I think my husband used it on his privates...I think I just attribute it to that!

I use it mostly as a dry shampoo...it doesn't really blend into my hair as well as real dry shampoos do, but it works in a pinch!

Only if I'm gonna be some hot, muggy weather. It helps my clothes not stick to me, lol

Burt's Bees baby powder just smells amazing and is talc free. Great after shaving!

Not always, but I do have a container of it in the closet that I use on occasion.

i'm not really sure what the point of using it is. But like the other commenter, I live in the desert, so I usually just put on lotion after a shower. I need all the extra moisture I can get
