Do You Use a Blow Dryer?

Today, a friend of mine confessed that she has only been using a blow dryer for the last one of her 30 years. Although I am often pressed for time in the morning, I try to do a little heat styling to tame my hair, even if the results aren't perfect. Since I often notice many wet-haired ladies and gents on my morning train ride, I'm wondering how many of you use a blow dryer after washing?

Very occasionally - only when dressing up for a party or if it's cold out. But I don't work, so I like to let it dry naturally.

I blow dry my hair EVERY time I wash it.Head down, medium then cold air and it gives me volume :) for 20min :(I have fine and straight hair.I don't like to let it dry on its own.I don't like the feeling of wet hair and wet scalp slooowwwwly drying.(I don't mind it at the beach though)

it depends when im on the mood, like once a week... cause my hair is straigh and oily, so i feel like its a wasted of time... cause the next day it feels dirty...:S

I actually use to do both. I would shower at night, let it air dry and then in the morning style it with a blow dryer. I still shower at night and let it air dry, but now I flat iron it in the morning. I like the flat iron waaayyy more.

Honestly, I just CAN'T blow-dry it. I have wild locks and my hair looks very much afro-like when I blow-dry it so it's a completely no-no for me

No, I air dry. I'm too lazy to blow dry all of my hair and I usually just take a shower befor I go to sleep anyway, so I don't go to college with wet hair most of the time :)

Depends. In the spring/summer I almost never use my blow dryer, I just wake up earlier and let my hair air dry. However once fall/winter arrives, I blow dry and style it more. My hair is straight until mid-shaft then it has a wave. However itn't always consistant looking so I need to use my round brush to style it. Thankfully my T3 dryer and brush do not damage my hair like my old Revlon dryer did,lol.

I use a blow dryer every time. My hair is hip-length and thick (even with layers), and it will stay wet for hours if I don't use a dryer. In a bun or braid, it'll take over a day to dry. The only time I don't use a dryer is in the summer, because I don't have AC and it's just too hot.

I have to blow dry my hair everyday because if I don't it will be one frizzy wavy mess! My hair is very thick and pretty long too, so it is a major pain. If I have a day where I can just stay in the house though I let it air dry.

Never, unless I go to a salon. It just looks like crap/bird's nest if I do it myself.

I usually don't blow dry. I wash my hair at night and let it air dry before I go to bed. I'm pretty lucky since my hair dries straight and looks good. I only blow dry if I have to rush out of the house with my hair wet, or if it's a special day where I want extra volume.

i have no choice. i HAVE to blow dry my hair or else it looks flat and just unpolished. I have a lot of thin hair that is straight and it just looks unkept if i don't blow dry it. so for those who don't have to blow dry, i envy you!!

I used to but since going natural I haven't picked up a blow dryer in over a year and my hair is much better because of it. So no more hair dryers for me.

I think I got at Bath and Body Works or H2O or something forever ago, g1amourpuss, but you can probably find them in drugstores now as well. They're the thin, light, super-absorbent hair towels.They work great, because my hair's almost waist-length and holds water really well for some reason; if I just dry with a normal towel, I end up dripping all over myself for the next three hours.
