Do You Use the Color Wheel When Choosing Color Cosmetics?
by POPSUGAR Beauty 8
According to the color wheel, colors that are close to each other in the spectrum create a cohesive palette. Take Leighton Meester for instance, who wore coppery shadow with orange-toned cheeks at an event last year. In turn, colors that are direct opposites, like orange and blue, are a great way to create maximum drama.Think Jessica Alba's turquoise and gold eye shadow palette she wore to a Tribeca Film Festival party in LA earlier this year. What about you? Do you use the color spectrum this way, or is it something you don't really even consider when applying your makeup?
