Do You Wear Pigtails?

Rashida Jones can pull off anything. A perfect example? She wore what appears to be pigtails to a screening of Monogamy and looked totally cute and normal. I love pigtails, but most of the time I'd only consider wearing them to the gym or out to run errands on the weekend. Do you ever put your hair in pigtails? And if you do, what environments are you comfortable wearing them in?

My wife has long brunnett hair and I love it when she wears braided pigtails. The look is very sexy and not childish at all.

No, but my older sister does when she does cycling. I don't see anything wrong with it. Pigtails aren't only for children.

Haha what a bunch of haters. When my hair was long but not layered I wore pigtails worn in front quite often. It was too long to do yardwork etc in but looked cute and normal for going to the movies and working at the office. Note I also wore two braids down the front.... a lot more often! I actually look forward to trying pigtails now that my hair is layered. I look at it this way... I'm 31, no one is going to mistake me for a child. It's a simple way to style hair and wear it down the front which is nice when your shirt is boring or you're pulling jackets off and on all day. Pigtails are win :)

yes, i wear pigtails to the gym when i teach turbo kickboxing classes! and i love it when zooey deschanel wears pigtails. they look better with bangs, for sure.

I wore pigtails to my daughters Pumpkin Patch fieldtrip. I thought it would be cute, and since we were visiting a farm appropriate. I don't think I would have worn pigtails to an event, but she looks really cute. (Freckles and all, LOL)

Or if I had to some sort of uber short hair cut and I couldn't get my hair into one ponytail and I needed to clean the house, work out, do yard work, etc.

Uh hell no...only if it were Halloween or some other event that would require me to be in costume. She looks ridiculous. The only reason they pass for anything remotely normal is that they are set so low it takes you a second to realize her hair is in pigtails and not just half up and half down.
