Do Your Hands Show Your True Age?

There's an old saying that no matter how young your face looks, your hands will give your age away. Concerned about your hands not looking their best? my hands show my age.... as in they show that i'm a 17 year old girl. short nails, chipped polish, atrocious cuticles. i dont have to worry about wrinkles just yet. ahhaha

Okay - so my hands may be dry (just genetically prone) but I think the neck shows the age on most ppl. I moisturive my hands all the time and use moisturizer w. at least a 30 SPF daily on face and neck.AND YES - BEING BLACK...IT DOES AND WILL CRACK if not taken care of! Don't be fooled:)

Yes! Tons of people have young looking faces because they've used tons of treatments or whatever but their hands often look old because they've neglected them. I think hands, neck, and chest give away your true age.

Yeah, I use lotion but I'm going to get some with spf next time I run out. My hands are definitely slightly dryer than they use to be.

I have really been paying attention to my hands over the past two years. I try to take very good care of them. I do need to get some hand lotion with SPF though.

I hate putting lotion on my hands during the day. The only time I can tolerate stuff on my hands is right before bed. Bad, I know but I'm trying to ease in sunscreen on the TOP of my hands before going out now....baby steps !

no, they look younger. i have a close friend who's 23 but her hands look like she's 50. her boyfriend teases her lovingly about it, but it is a bit disturbing to look at. and they feel harsh as well. and she is very pampered girl, i guess it's just genetics.

If I don't keep my hand moisturized they look much older. I have to stay on top if it. other wise they look dry and haggard.

I heard the saying, "whatever you do to your face, do to your hands." It really is true that your hands can give you away. That's why I apply sunscreen and everything else that goes on my face on my hands every day as well.
