Do you Prefer Summer or Winter Makeup Colors?

UK FabSugar asked if you prefer Summer or Winter clothing, and I want to know if you prefer Summer or Winter makeup. Dark khakis, golds, browns, and purples were all the rage last season. But now, spring is finally here! This means that more lighthearted, flirty and pastel makeup shades will take center stage. I love both palettes, but then again, I'm a complete beauty-product junkie. Which makeup season do you like more?

The fall/winter colors go better with my skin tone and coloring, but also I just feel more comfortable wearing darker makeup and more makeup in colder months. I keep it simple in summer.

I'm not sure. I want to say Spring/Summer because I like the vibrant colors. I'm just not sure how well they look on my skin tone... I have a tendency to always stick with dark colors.

I love light makeup for the summer. I love the dark colors for winter like the Bordeaux lipstick and the gray shadow.

I don't really select colors based on the seasons, I stick with what looks best on me year-round. But as far as those photos in the poll, the spring/summer look is pretty ridiculous, but the winter/fall look is very sexy (if a bit too much).

i'm so fair complected that my skin tone hardly changes enough to constitute different colors. i stick with liners in deep purples, gray, shimmery browns and greens and occasionally golds and orangey shades. in the height of summer i can pull of a turquoise/bright green liner.

Because I am a "winter palette" (I have fair skin and dark eyes and hair), winter colors suit me best. But the summer look is always so pretty and fresh and golden! I think every person has a range of colors that flatter them best and it's all about finding that and being creative. Make-up is such an art and personal statement.

I'm undecided! I love rockin' both types of makeup! I love the drama of Fall/Winter makeup & the flirtiness of Spring/Summer. Can't choose because it's fun to experiment with both!

I had to pick undecided but I'm not - I love makeup also and the changing it up is what's so fun about it. Never wear the same color every day.

both are nice but I guess it depends on what you're wearing. The summer colors are fun and young whereas the winter colors are sexy and sophisticated. :)
