I am usually a big fan of Burt's Bees products — the lip balm is one of my all-time favorites. So after hearing good things about Burt's Coconut Foot Creme, I went to the drugstore in search of some. But instead, I bought the Burt's Bees Thoroughly Therapeutic Foot Creme by mistake.
At first, this foot cream showed promise. Made from Bilberry extract and honey, it smells heavenly, and the ultra-thick lotion looked like it would be ultra-moisturizing. But so far — much to my dismay — I have been underwhelmed by it, so read more
As someone who walks a lot, I like a heavy-duty foot cream, and this one just doesn't quite do it for me. It has a somewhat greasy texture, so my hands feel icky after applying it. Also, the moisture never feels like it gets down very deep; the heavy lotion just sort of sits on top my skin. Also, though the product promises to exfoliate feet as well, it just seems like lotion to me.
I've been using it for a number of weeks, hoping to make my soles and heels less rough, but I haven't seen a noticeable difference. I've had better luck with some of the foot lotions offered by Sally Hansen. But maybe I should try the Coconut Foot Creme instead? If you've used either, let me know what you think.

aww im sad to hear this! im such a fan of burts bees, but thanks for the review because i was going to get this and im going rethink it now.
1burt's coconut foot creme rocks...definitely get it!!!!! (and bummer that you got this one by mistake!)
2i love burts bees. i would marry burt himself if i could. i love their products. i mean LOVE them.
3OOh. I've used burts bees products for a really long time now, and I've noticed that the newer products really don't live up to the stuff they put out about 4 or 5 years ago.
I love the coconut foot cream, it smells AMAZING, but based off what you've described the other as, I'd say you probably won't like it either. Its very greasy, though you can sort of feel it absorb into your skin, and if you put on a pair of cotton socks after applying it, you get this sort of numbing happy feeling that radiates up your legs. I love it, but the greasiness might be a turn off to you! I love the smell, and thats the only reason I put up with it. hehe..
4love burt's bee!!
5The coconut foot cream is awesome!
6I like the smell of the coconut cream but I think it is very greasy and doesn't sink in either. I'm still in love with Curel foot cream that's new.
7I agree...I love Burt Bees and bought this creme thinking it would help my poor feet. It did not. I was so disappointed.
8The coconut isn't really a cream at all really..it's like oil almost..it's great on your feet but super greasy on the hands..
9Yeah, the coconut cream is really greasy. After applying it, I have to wash my hands really thoroughly - and the socks I use with it are so disgusting after! It does smell amazing, but I personally don't think it's worth it.
Some of their new products have been great though - I have their sensitive skin lotion and I just love that one!
10I've tried both, and I really do like the coconut better....it's just a bit messier!
11Burt's Bees is the best!
12I love Burt Bee's products, I swear by the chapstick and won't use any others. I haven't tried the foot creme though. The hand creme worked well though.
13my foot treatment is as follows: i use the coconut foot creme at nite ( i bought light weight cotton socks to keep my sheet from getting greasy)and i use the almond or banana hand creme on my feet during the day. the hand creme absorbs quickly, lasts all day and it doesnt feel greasy. Plus you only need to use a light layer.
14I had the same experience. I don't think I'll be buying it again. But the coconut one sounds promising!
15i guess i'll stay away from their creams, but not the lip balms!!!
16i use the coconut foot creme only when my heels are extremely dry. it's good for like a once a week treatment when you have some spare time at home. not good for everyday use because it gets on everything!
17sally hanson makes great creams
