You Have to See the Dreamy New Braids Offered at Drybar

If you're addicted to Drybar blowouts — we know you're out there — this news is going to get you ready to book your next appointment ASAP: the hairstyling salon just launched a brand-new braid bar. This has been a long time coming!

"We are very excited about offering braids as an added service to a blowout and think our clients are liking the option — especially around festival season!" Drybar founder Alli Webb told us. "Braids are a fun way to dress up your blowout and change things up a bit."

Drybar hit the scene about four years ago, offering women a place to just get their hair styled (no cuts, just blowouts for a $40 flat fee). And it rarely updates its menu, which includes looks like the Mai-Tai (beach waves), the Southern Comfort (big curls), and the Straight Up (sleek strands). Then, last year, Drybar added the Dirty Martini (slept-in waves), and it looks like founder Alli and her team of pros are on a roll. This month, braids are officially part of the offering (for a $10 addition).

"There are hundreds of braid styles out there, but we wanted to narrow the choice a wee bit and focus on what we as a team felt were the most commonly requested (supercute and fun!) braids," explained Alli of how they came up with the looks.

And which one is Alli's favorite? "I'm in love with headband crown braids — with hair up or down, they are so pretty and feminine," she gushed.
