It's easy to forget how gorgeous and fresh a bright head scarf can look. Instead of tying it like a kerchief, follow Lakshmi Menon's lead here and wrap your hair up the way you would to towel dry it. Then, secure the "tail" of the scarf underneath with a couple of bobby pins. It's easy, it's fast, it looks totally glam, and it's great for when you don't have time to style your hair.

This style of hair is so in right now, I love the natural wavy, beachy look it's hot and guys love it too!

The blonde style is gorgeous - and I' like to bet that most men think so too! I can therefore only imagine jealousy is at play for those who disagree! Grunge is more than a look, it's an ethos; a classic in its own right. Long may it live! It's better than the high-maintenance, high-heel-tottering vacant footballer's wife look! However I grant that this hairstyle would not be a great look for older women, unless they are absolutely gorgeous, although it could be modified to suit.

What happened to all the good hairdressers, is right! I get my hair cut by one mediocre lady, who at least knows what I'm talking about, still, if I walk her thru each snip. I went elsewhere a couple of times, and asked them to basically cut "bangs" that where layered in front, (so they look swept back and layered when I wear it up) and then a medium-longish blunt cut in the back. Two people told me I wanted "two different haircuts" and one guy told me he knew exactly what I meant, combed all my bang area from about the middle of my head, forward, and CUT IT OFF AT BANG LENGTH. I was almost out of my mind, before someone else stepped in, and salvaged my hair. It's not that hard, I see people with parted, layered "bangs" and a ponytail, all the time. but if you ask for more than long hair that's raggedly and unevenly layered these days, FORGET IT!

I'm sorry but the blond's hair is a mess. Can we move on from "grunge" or the unkempt look? Is there no going back to some kind of classy look or is the "low down" look so appealing?

The older women of today all look alike with short curley hair. They need to update their hairdo and be alittle daring. If you look around notice how everyone looks the same.

Please, get some hair stylists who like women.. I am sick of all the women ,young and old and even older, wearing their hair straight,and to make it even worse a center part.. Only the very beautiful can get away with this and look pretty. So make us pretty again... And you girls who wear this, take a good look in the mirror.. Nuf said..Sarg...

I agree with the person who said that hairstyles of today make women look like old bag ladies. They look unkept and frumpy. Long hair and pony tails is not for everyone! What happened to all the good hairdressers in this country? Go to any chain now-a-days and I bet they don't even know how to cut a decent Wedge, a Stack, a Swing, or a Bob. Some hairstyles should never ever go out of style just like that little proverbial black dress we count on for elegance.

Talking about the IDOL Hairdo's -- They are more like HairDON'Ts !!! A few years ago IDOL hairstylist "Dean" would give the girls much needed "hair" makeovers, most of them from outdated, unflattering, ugly frizzy looks, to STRAIGHT, Chic & Sleek Bobs, or Longer Hairstyles, making them look great! But now the girls look like bag ladies! Help!
