The base, which is touted as a radiance-enhancing, hydration-rich product, does indeed provide plenty of moisture. In fact, when wearing this foundation, I skip out on the moisturizer altogether, opting for a light sweep of face primer instead. The texture is great, as is the medium coverage — perfect if you're trying to cover blemishes like me. I find that I don't even have to use as much concealer as I normally do, as the foundation's already done the job. Find out my overall impression when you read more.
When it comes to the finish, Lift Extreme doesn't give me an unbelievable amount of dewy radiance, but I'm OK with that. I prefer a slightly matte/slightly satin look anyway, and that's just what I get with this foundation. At $36, it's not cheap, but a tiny half-pump is enough to cover my big ol' mug. The line ranges in 15 shades of cool, neutral, and warm tones. All in all, I'm giving this foundation two thumbs up. It wears nicely from day to night and has the perfect amount of coverage without the chalkiness, all while managing to look naturally smooth. Oh, and it's fragrance-free. Whee!
