Have you seen The Women? I have to say that the 1939 version is way better than the 2008 version, although I'm no movie critic. In this famous scene, it all spirals downward for the conniving Crystal Allen, as portrayed by Joan Crawford, as she smokes and chats away while taking a glamorous bubble bath.

I love that scene in splash, too-- on another mermaid note, there was Aquamarine where a boy bursts in the bathroom, and another girl has to hold her breath underwater and be the mermaid's feet. (He can't see the fins!)

Nice one! Although the most memorable bath scene for me is Sharon Tate in Vampires Ball (sp) - as a kid all I could think of was "whoah I want that girl's hair".

Great compilation! I remember watching The Money Pit with my mom and her laughing hysterically when the bathtub fell through.

When I was little I loved the bath scene in Splash where Daryl Hannah added salt to her bath water and then turned into a mermaid. I tried adding salt to my bath after seeing that but I never managed to grow a fish tail...:(
