Fendi Just Perfected the Subtle Smoky Eye of Our Dreams

The smoky eye is a makeup look we try desperately to achieve but can never seem to get just right. But the eye look at Fendi's Fall 2014 show was a subtle, smoked-out version that gave us all kinds of new hope for getting it perfect. Models wore taupe-colored shadow with heavy contouring in the crease. Toward the edge of the eye, the shadow took on that smoky look with purple, black, and brown shadows. A touch of contouring under the cheekbones and some gloss across the lips kept the attention on the eyes. For the hair, models were seen sporting a low, slicked ponytail accented with a deep side part. And nails were kept a nude, chalky hue. We can't wait to pull out our shadows and experiment with this look ourselves!
