2009 Screen Actors Guild Awards: Freida Pinto

Many of you loved Freida Pinto's Golden Globes look, so I'm eager to read your thoughts on her SAG Awards style. Slumdog Millionaire's rising star seems beautiful, gracious, and clearly excited to be in Hollywood right now. Taking inspiration from her periwinkle chiffon gown, Pinto wears cool lilac shadow with a touch of warm bronze on her crease, creating a look that is very unexpected and modern. Since it's all about the eyes for the young actress, she keeps her cheeks and lips more subdued, and wears a classic French twist. How are you feeling about the warm and cool tones? I can't think of a movie star today who is more beautiful than she is. I hope to see her in many more films. She's not only beautiful, she's a good actress as well.

I agree with everyone, that Freida is a natural beauty with very good taste. However, I just want to point out that if everyone is referencing Aishwariya Rai, the Bollywood actress with bright green/blue eyes, they are not fake. In fact, she is the only well known actress with those colored eyes; everyone else's are brown. So, none of the Bollywood actresses are trying to hide their real beauty.

You´d have to be pretty lousy at your job as a make-up artist to be able to make her look bad...she is just too stunning for words...and may I say this look highlights her beauty well

This is also a fabulous contrast from her Golden Globe's look; she looks elegant and classier here, while the other look was much warmer and more natural. She has the amazing ability to pull off both.

Austerity I agree with you 100%! It's so exciting to see an Indian woman who does not look like the typical Bollywood actress that is shoved down our throats. You know she's not slathering on the Fair n' Lovely! She can do no wrong in my book!
