Freida Pinto Oscars 2009: Makeup Tutorial, Get the Look

I have a feeling the beautiful Freida Pinto could walk onto the red carpet wearing clown makeup and still take my breath away, but her Oscars makeup was incredibly flattering. Makeup artist Jeffrey Paul was inspired by the colors of a morning sunrise. "The look was about elegance," he explains. "It's about the youthful radiance of a young woman."

• Skin: Use a mineral powder foundation to cover complexion imperfections. (Paul used Diorskin Nude in Honey Beige). Sweep a powder highlighter along cheekbones. Freida wore Diorskin Shimmer Star in Amber Diamond.
• Eyes: Freida wore Dior eye shadows in Blooming Pink and Beige Massai on her eyelids, with Dior 5-Colour eye shadow in Night Dust along her lashline. Follow with brown mascara.
• Lips: Freida wore Dior Addict High Shine Lipstick in Sheer Rose, a light-coverage warm pink shade.
