Gabourey Sidibe Oscars 2010: Pictures and Makeup

Makeup artist Toby Fleischman was charged with creating Gabourey's red carpet makeup for the Oscars. "We wanted a soft metallic eye to pick up the jeweled accents on the dress," she explained. To create the look, she began by lightly lining Gabourey's eyes with black waterproof eyeliner, then smudged it into her lash line. Next, Fleischman applied CoverGirl Smoky Shadow Blast stick in Bronze on Gabourey's eyelids and swept CoverGirl Eye Enhancer Shadow in Tapestry Taupe added a metallic glow. On cheeks: Nars blush in Lovejoy. To finish the look, she first applied a coat of Estee Lauder Tiger Eye Lipstick, and then topped it off with Clinique Long Last Glosswear in Goldspun. The best part of the process, according to Fleischman: "Seeing Gabby's megawatt smile when she saw herself in the mirror."
