Genius or Gimmick? Beauty Magnets


The current issue of Lucky has a writeup of these beauty magnets ($15), a wrinkle-reducing treatment that promises to make you look rested and refreshed. The idea is that you affix the magnets to your face as a "natural face lift." The manufacturer markets them as such:

Studies have shown that brief periods of relaxation, as little as 30 minutes a day, can restore vitality and the sense of balance that is essential to looking and feeling your best.

While this may be true, I don't see a direct link between these magnets and relaxing. And I'm pretty skeptical that these would do anything real. What do you think — does this sound bogus or brilliant?
