I'm not sure what to think about the Thinny Hair Holder ($20), a volume-boosting contraption that resembles a Velcro crown. I'm also not so sure what to think about this awkward low-budget commercial, which might be light on the editing, but high on the entertainment value, particularly when the product falls off of her velveteen demo board. While Bumpits, a similar device for creating loads of lift, seems to be quite popular — it's even used on the Gossip Girl set — I have to wonder if the Thinny Hair Holder will have success, too? And most importantly, does it stay in? Find out at the 3:12 mark. You have to admire her enthusiasm.
