Get The Most From Your Makeup: Your Old Toothbrush

About to throw out that old toothbrush of yours, are you? Whoa Nelly, hold your horses. Your used toothbrush can also double as an eyebrow brush! I know it sounds kind of disgusting, but if you clean it properly, it's not going to transfer any cooties—I promise!

First, disinfect it by soaking in it hot water infused with liquid anti-bacterial soap. Then, instead of spending more cash on a brow brush or a brow gel, just spritz a little bit of your favorite light hold hairspray on the bristles of your toothbrush to help hold the shape. totally not a beauty tip, but whenever i use a toothbrush to death, i use it to clean my bathroom. put some bleach on that and get into the corners other things don't reach and clean my sink that way too. very helpful.

Oh, come on, guys. If there's anything on your toothbrush that a few minutes in boiling water won't get rid of, you have bigger problems and should probably see your doctor ASAP. I've been doing this forever and it works great.

gross... unless you use some massive disinfectant that would probably melt the bristles I wouldn't touch a used toothbrush to my face...

I use the toothbrush for my eyelashes. But I get a new one just in case. It separates the lashes great right after a few coats of mascara.

Haha! Yeah I have been doing this for years--I just use the new cheapo toothbrushes that the dentist gives and for some reason I have always liked it better then an eyebrow brush!
