Love It or Hate It? Gwen Stefani '60s Glam Look

Whether she's wearing white nail polish or silvery-white locks, I think we can all agree that Gwen Stefani is truly adventuresome with her beauty looks. Last night, at the Fashion Group International's annual Night of Stars, she was a blast from the past, walking the red carpet with a '60s-inspired look. Gwen's bouffant hair, which was paired with paled-out lips, highly emphasized brows, and super-thick black liner, is atypical of her look, which usually has a bit of a rocker twist. What do you think of Gwen's Bond Girl ensemble: yeah baby, yeah — or no baby, no?

Oh my god, this is Japanese fashion! There are entire magazines where ALL the girls have this *exact* look - large, piecey blond bouffants, superwhite skin, heavy black eyemakeup, false lashes top and bottom, and nude shiny lips - they actually make lip concealer to blot them out. The thing is, this look is really out for Japanese women over 23 or so, but I think she looks great - even if it's a really 'done' look.

stiff arched eyebrows = botox? Love the look though! Her eye color (iris) looks black with all that liner on her lids. Very effective.

LOVE it. And I third the holly madison comment. Holly truly is beautiful. She doesn't look like the rest of the playboy girls. For some reason she stands out in a good way.

I think the eyeliner is far too thick for her. Her eyes look bloodshot. Everything else looks good though

I agree about the Holly Madison comment, I always think that, especially when Holly wears that leopard print jacket. I love Gwen to death but something is off about this picture.

Hey Anon #11Fair enough. Gwen looks great at 40. Great "for" 40 would imply that she's being favored measurably against an other, which by default, would imply looking 40 (whatever that is) is bad
