Urban Decay x Gwen Stefani Exclusive Swatch Reveal

All right, I'm giving you carte blanche to lose your sh*t. I get it. It seems like the only acceptable way to act — this has never been seen before, and you're going to lose your mind at how great it is. You've waited for this moment, and finally — FINALLY! — here are all of the glorious shades in Gwen Stefani's Urban Decay palette, swatched for your complete visual pleasure.

About the shadows: the color payoff for all 15 shades is utter perfection. (Did you expect anything less from UD?) Harajuku, the blue-pink, isn't a wacky pink; it has a cooler tone to it, so you can wear it to work or on a date and nobody will think you're nuts. The 1987 shade is a tremendous gold that I plan on using on the daily on my inner corners. My favorite shade, Punk, is a red-brown matte that accentuates green and hazel eyes. I can't stress how wearable this palette is — you'll probably hit pan with every single shadow.

Here's a breakdown of the 12 new shades, which are all aptly named for different parts of Gwen's life:

Blonde, a pale beige with pink iridescent shift that's great for highlighter

Bathwater, a pale beige with gold pearl

Steady, a medium rose with metallic gold shift

Punk, the reddish-brown matte I mentioned that accentuates green and hazel eyes

Baby, a cool metallic rose

Anaheim, a light taupe-brown that's one of the only matte shades in the palette

Zone, another matte in a medium brown

Serious, a smoky gray with iridescent floating pearl that helps add dimension to a regular smoky look

Pop, a pale coral with iridescent sparkle

Harajuku, a metallic blue-pink with iridescent microshimmer that works gorgeously with Punk

Danger, a deep metallic royal blue with blue microsparkle

1987, a bright metallic yellow-gold

The other three shades — Skimp, Stark, and Blackout — are favorites of Gwen's from the original Urban Decay collection.

I'm truly obsessed with this palette. Dare I say I use it more than my Naked palettes? Yes, I do. All of the neutral colors help enhance your eyes without going overboard, and they're all so wearable that you could wear it to work, for a night out with the girls, on a date, to church . . . wherever you want to go, you can use this palette alone.
