Forgive my sophomoric sense of humor, but I can't stop giggling at the name Bumpits. Bum. Pits. Har har. But seriously, folks: these hair combs are used to create volume by nudging hair up to new heights. (As the website points out, Bumpits are not edible.) The commercial is kind of cheesy, but its creator has appeared on HSN, which means she's probably laughing, too... all the way to the bank. Have you checked these out?

French Connection
Yeah I saw it on HSN the other day ( don't ask why I watch them or QVC I just do!). Those things are stupid what is the obession with "the bump" even on the "Instyler" informercial the stylist was putting that silly bump on the top of peoples heads!
1Wow, talk about cheesey.
2And am I the only one that does NOT want my head to look enormous?
3One of the gurus i watch on youtube had a tutorial on how to work with these not too long ago.
4I saw an informercial for this.... I think its too much like bad prom hair and I dont really like it for an everyday thing.
5I have!!!
6my sister and I saw them on a commercial while I was home for winter break and we thought it was hilarious. yes, my hair gets pretty flat, but no I don't want an uncomfortable piece of plastic on my head all day.
7Wow; this hair is too reminiscent of what girls wear in high school nowadays...No thanks.
8I interned at HSN for a few months last year... they make so much money, it really doesnt matter how cheesy or bad the product is... those people can SELL THE CRAP out of it.
9Hmm...interesting.... // Yea, the pouf hairstyle is getting a bit old and tired.
10Oh God don't laugh but I had an idea to do something like this a while back. Unfortunately no one is going to believe that came naturally and it sorta reminds me of and 80s beauty pageant in Texas. Maybe if it were a little lower and a little less visible
11i would so buy these
12It looks totally cheesy but I so want it! lol
13I like having the sex bump in my hair, but these seem like they'd fall out or peek through. I'll just use hair products, thnx.
14if you would want this look, then you should know that they are suppose to be really hard to use. The chick in the commericals can do it, but she has to use "hollywood magic".
15Too funny! I'd be afraid it would fall out or something...
16this reminds me too much of stuffing your bra....except your stuffing your hair
17Seems kind of silly - I don't find the huge *poof* of hair all that attractive anyway, and the whole concept seems kind of like a bustle for your head, which is a very amusing mental image.
18embarrassing that i want this now? hahaha
19I have to admit, I'm intrigued!
20First off... this is just too close to MALL Bangs.
Second. I'm intrigued
Third. Maybe I can rock an Amy Winehouse do?
Reminds me of the Topsy Tail, banana clip and braidini!
21i saw this commercial the other day.. i would buy it probbaly.
22i'm in high school, and i wouldn't even wear this. my friends and i just laughed when we saw this infomercial.
23me and my sister were watching this commercial on tv yesterday. we thought it looked completely ridiculous though.
24They look ridiculous, but ya gotta give it up for the inventor. Very practical.
25I checked these out and they do not work whatsoever! When you use them the teeth show and you can see the entire bumpit in your hair from a mile away. I threw them out the day I got them. However, while venturing through Bumpit reviews I found a product that actually works that has apparently been out for years, way before Bumpits. They're called hair poufs and I ordered them from this adorable company called Bombshell Beauty. They work great. I use them every weekend for a bang pouf. I love this look. I also used them for my sorority dance and they stayed in the entire night! Ah i love these hair poufs. Go to bombshellbeauty.com and order them!
26yeah the commercial is cheesy and I had the same thoughts as a lot of ppl who posted comments- but I actually bought them- my friend split the cost of a box just to try them and they actaully work really well- you dont feel it on your head and it goes in and stays in easily. Taking it out is a little harder- it gets a little stuck. I am not sure about the bigger rock star one- that might be a bit much!
27if you have enough hair over the bumpit- you dont see the teeth sticking through. I was very surprised at how easy they are- the wind cant knock em out- i even worked out with one in!
Hello everyone!
28any1 in here knows were to get a bumpit from any place in the UK ... send me the link or name of place to my email thanks !
i suppose this is better for your hair than teasing it.
29Yep, I have seen bumpits everywhere.... on ladies' heads! They are so obvious that it's hilarious. Even if you can't see the teeth, the shape is so unnatural for a person's head, almost pointed or something at the top. I giggle every time I walk past someone who has one in.
30bumpits do work. i have them. yes i am 11 but i really like them. good buy. not hard at all..... if your not stupid anyway
