Trend Alert: '70s-Style, Bowl-Cut Bangs

A few years back, it seemed that bowl haircuts were about to make a comeback. And while the trend never seemed to take off, perhaps bowl cut-style bangs are the next best thing. Recently, Three's Company, Chrissy Snow-type fringe has been seen on the likes of Mary J. Blige, Jennifer Love Hewitt, and Mena Suvari. Shorter and straight in middle and longer on the ends, call the look a blunt bang/bowl bang hybrid, if you will. But most importantly, will you be knocking on the door of this trend?

Not gonna hold my tongue on this: I didn't like it on Oliver from the Brady Bunch, Tina Yothers from Family Ties, Joey from Gimme a Break, etc. Makes me angry for no logical reason.

I already get my bangs cut like this because blunt cuts look hideous with my cowlick and curly/wavy hair. I also had them cut like this since I was little, and I know who Chrissy Snow is so :-P

Rule of thumb is.... If you around for the first time a trend became, well... A trend, you shouldn't partake in it's comeback. If you actually know who Chrissy Snow is, don't bother. Everyone else is asking themselves "who the h**l is Chrissy Snow"? Meana Suvari looks hideous with this style. Two thumbs waaaaaaay down.
