Helena Bonham Carter is always kooky and has a slightly macabre aesthetic sense that's off-putting to some, but also endearing. Helena is in fine form at the Critics' Choice Awards, where she's wearing a corseted black silk dress complete with exterior garters, an enormous black feather and netting fascinator, and shiny, blood-red nail polish. For the coup de grace, she's carrying a crystal-encrusted minaudiere shaped like two big red lips. Thoughts on her entire look?

this for me is actually a perfect harmony between her kooky style and what actually looks good. she usually goes way overboard and wears something really ugly (like at the Globes), but this is risky without being awful. the headpice is, at least to me, fabulous and the clutch is so cool. love it. by the way, anyone who likes the clutch but either can't afford or doesn't want to pay such a crazy amount for the Lulu Guisness beauty, Sephora has a similar clutch - the glittery one http://www.polyvore.com/sephora_collection_sequined_lip_clutch/thing?id=23033457 is sold out (uggh; unfortunately) but they sell a plain, bright red one. http://www.sephora.com/browse/product.jhtml?id=P270319
