The nails were painted pure white to be reminiscent of bones. "It's a neutral version of a neon white," said manicurist Deborah Lippmann for Beauty.com. She painted the models' nails with two coats of Amazing Grace ($16) and then one coat of Like a Virgin ($16), a milky white. A top coat of Shining Armour (out in Spring) gave a gel-like finish.
