How to Do Jennifer Lopez's 2010 Grammys Hair

The majority of you were loving Jennifer Lopez's look at the Grammys, and I've got the scoop on the inspiration behind her hairstyle from stylist Robert Vetica, who worked with the multitalented actress last night. Inspired by the 1970s, Vetica focused on creating volume and texture to give Jennifer's one-length hair a throwback feel, and here's how:

First, apply Moroccanoil Treatment on wet locks and blow-dry until the hair is smooth, using a round brush to build volume. After making a center part, start curling. Use a one-inch iron, making sure you curl the hair downward in a spiral fashion. (Vetica started curling in the back of Jennifer's hair, working his way to the front, lifting her hair away from her face in the process.) Next, break up the curl with your fingers and apply Moroccanoil Hydrating Styling Cream for texture and hold. Finish off by brushing out the hair, backcombing underneath for even more fullness, and then spritzing on hair spray for shine and control.

I love Moroccan oil too! It has really helped my hair feel soft and shiny and even help style!! I started out with the oil treatment and loved it so much. Then I tried the styling cream and was even more happier. And now I am even happier!! I have tried the curl cream and even if you use it on dry hair (just a drop; the size of a rain drop) before you curl your hair or even if you use curlers on special occasions, it really holds the curl and looks very natural and light weight and all you need is that drop! That is very important, just the size of a rain drop and emulsify it in your hands first and gently dap it in or scrunch delicately throughout your hair and then begin your style however you like! P.S. Please don't forget, I believe on all of the products all you need is just a drop, and then if you feel you need a little more you will know (maybe you have very long or think hair you may need more than me). I hope you like it just as much as I do!!
