How Do You Feel About a Man With a Mustache?

Matt Damon made a grave grooming mistake on the set of his new movie The Informant yesterday. I can handle a little bit of scruff on a guy, but a full-on mustache is so '80s. Even Tom Selleck did away with his famous 'stache in 2004 for a brief stint. I know it's not Matt's fault, he has to wear it for his role in the film — but I find it so gross. How do you feel about a mustache on a man? Do you think it's sexy or awful?

not a fan usually but i have a guy friend that wears a mustache nicely--very cool. it also depends if the guy wearing the 'stache is serious about it or it's a joke.

MY DAD HAS A STACHE. IT DOESNT AGE HIM AT ALL. IN FACT PEOPLE ARE ALWAYS TELLING HIM HOW YOUNG HE LOOKS. HE LOVES IT, SO HE INSISTS ON ALWAYS TELLING PEOPLE HIS AGE. THE COMPLIMENTS THAT ROLL IN WITH TELLING PEOPLE HIS AGE IS HEAVEN FOR HIM. HES 55 AND I SWEAR PEOPLE THINK HES 35. AS FOR ME I CANT BE WITH A GUY WITH A STACHE. THAT LOOK IS ONLY FOR MY DAD.

Brown_eyed_grrl -- LOL and YES, Tom Sellack's mug is the only one that looks good with a mustache. UNLESS we're talking about a cute, neatly trimmed beard/goatee thing or the 5 o'clock scruff look, which I think is really cute...but NEVER just the mustache alone. Yuck.

Full mustaches are so outdated and funny looking. Short 'staches attached to short beards can be pretty hot though, like when they're on my favorite Red Sox players.

It all depends on the man, my friends. When my boyfriend told me he was growing a mustache for a contest, I was like "well I am not going to let you keep that for long." Then, to my utter shock, I actually liked it. He also looks good in a beard though. On most men, facial hair looks bad....on Tom Selleck it looks good. I guess I've inherited my mom's crush on him :o)

I cant stand them, or beards, with the exception of: I like stubble, so if they've got enough stubble to look as if they're a teenager that's trying to grow his first one, then I think, for some reason on the right men, that's strangely attractive, otherwise, tash's? Nooooo.

I think they only look good on older men. My father has had one my whole life and I would be crushed if he shaved it off, but I wouldn't want it on any of my significant others.

i made my bf grow a stache a few times. i love it...i don't know if its partly because it is so uncool right now or what. i'm totally sure the stache is on its way back though. just look at the hair/makeup/clothing trends. hello 80s and early 90s! i can't WAIT

I prefer men with a cleanshaven face but I'll make room for a little stubble. Mustaches are a complete turnoff to me.

love facial hair - and I love Tom Selleck's mustache! as long as the 'stache doesn't get too porn star (haha, like Edward James Olmos in BSG), I love a scruffy guy...
