What to do when you forget your morning spritz of perfume and then get invited to some fabulous after-work fete? According to perfumer Delphine Jelk, who created Bill Blass Couture 7, rubbing fresh flower petals on your pulse points is perfectly effective when you don't have perfume (provided your receptionist isn't looking). Jelk recommends sticking the remaining petals in your bra, which may be a little too Blanche Deveraux for most of us.

If you're worried about staining your clothes with the pollen, pulling out a fragrance strip from a magazine ad and rub it on — just be careful to stick to one scent or you'll give yourself, and your friends, a headache.

I use the Bath and Body Works fragrances, so I have the pulse point therapy mini bottles. They do a good job. Which is a good thing, considering I am VERY forgetful!

I use my Body Shop atomizer. I keep it with me and if I'm going out after work, I spritz some on.

yeah, I also have a travel-size roller perfume, plus I have a lot of samples left over from when I used to sell AVON that I will sometimes stick in my puse just in case. this does sound like a good idea, though, if you forget and have nothing on you...

I don't carry a purse or wear perfumes that often. So I keep something travel size in my car.

um a lot of flowers really just smell like dirt..... I think magazine samples are a good idea. But who cant live without perfume?

hahaha!!! okay, i couldnt keep this from yall no matter how badly i wanted to!! in my purse currently are: FULL SIZE bottles of vera wang sheer veil, anna sui, AND salvatore ferragamo, a large rollerball of Bella Belara, and four OTHER sample size scents!! i think i am a freak when it comes to perfume!!

They make small versions of fragrances for purses, so no need to rub flowers on yourself.

When I bought my Ed Hardy perfume, it came with a mini version. So handy! Barring that, I have a rollerball of Stella McCartney's Stella in my purse. :D

Lots of perfumes have a purse spray version that's easy (and unbreakable!) to carry around with you. I usually always have Chanel's Chance in my purse just in case I need to freshen up my fragrance for the day.. and it comes in the cutest twist & spray bottle. Armani perfume bottles are also good for carrying around with you.. Armani Remix and City Glam are good options, provided you like the scent of course :)

I keep Marc Jacobs Daisy in my purse--the solid perfume version. It comes in a little daisy-shaped ring, which I'll probably never actually wear, but it's small enough to carry around.

Travel size perfume, preferably roll-on ones, are fun. I usually dislike the perfume samples in magazines, though! Too strong!

what a odd recommendation. I just can here my co-workers: Hey, i think something is growing in your bra! and i bet they dont mean my two best friends I prefer stores like sephora for a little smell-a-tete.

I keep a little travel bottle (tiny) filled with the lotion version of my perfume - always a good pick me up, and doesnt clash (since it is what I put on earlier).
