How Many Times a Day Do You Reapply Your Lip Stuff?

Whether you're a lipstick wearer, a lip balm fan, or a gloss fiend, there's a high likelihood you're wearing something on your pucker right now. Some people — the ones with amounts of self-control I don't quite understand — austerely limit themselves to reapplying a couple times a day. Other people are so compulsive about reapplying that it's almost a nervous tic. Which category do you fit into? Or are you somewhere in between?

I'm constantly applying lip stuff, whether it's lip gloss or chapstick...I'm obsessed!

OMG are you kidding me? I put chapstick/lipbalm on 3-5 (OR MORE) times an hour! Last night I went with my dad to pick up some food that we had already ordered and I grabbed only my cell phone thinking "I don't need my purse for anything," but HOW WRONG I WAS. 2 minutes into the drive over there I realized OH NO! No purse = no chapstick. I was licking my lips and irritable the whole drive over there and back and by the time we got back to my house I couldn't get to my vaseline soon enough!

+12 times a day. I use lip balm, not cosmetics. I stash lip balms in every room of the house, and in every purse. I re-apply wherever and whenever. :) I don't like the feeling of dry, tight lips. Also, I naturally have very full lips. When they're dry (and peeling), it's obvious, as they're significant part of my face. It's unsightly, to say the least. When I was a teenager (and taking less care of myself), my Mom always had to remind me to apply lip balm because my full lips were cracked and peeling. It was gross-looking.

I reapply gloss/color only a few times a day, but I apply balm/chapstick at least 15 times a day. Right now I'm using Fresh Sugar Lip Treatment.

I use Lucas' Pawpaw ointment, which is brilliant - the best lip balm I've ever used - and I tend to re-apply several times a day.

I don't wear lipstick .. I'm just a lip balm girl. Burt's Bees all the way!! I re-apply all the time .. 7-12 applications a day.. just a habit. I hate the way my lips feel when they're dry.. bothers me.

I'm a neurotic reapplyer with my lip balm, I can't stand the feeling of dry lips. I only reapply lipstick or balm every now and again, usually when I have something to drink or eat.

Depends, sometimes it's only 4-7, other times it's 7-12, and it's everything from burt's bees lip balm at night as the last thing before bed, to shimmering lip conditioner or lip gloss throughout the day. :-) I wonder how much lip product I've ingested over my lifetime.

I apply chapstick whenever my lips are feeling dry. I probably fall in the 7-12 or 12+ category.

I don't actually count but whenever my lips start feeling dry. It's a habit I picked up from speech therapy. One speaks better if lips are moisturized, not dry or chapped.

Sometimes only once a day, but other times I'll reapply after lunch. I'm usually too busy to run to the back, dig through my bag, apply it, check the mirror then go back out.

It depends on what I'm doing/have done. Out partying - apply more often, sitting at the desk at work - less often. OC about it - Yes!! Must have stuff on lips.

I know I reapply many times a day, I'm not sure how many times though. My little sister on the other hand gave up lip gloss for Lent because she realized her addiction to it! :-D

i'm addicted. every hour or so i reapply. the exception is when i'm lounging around at home or working out.
