How to Wear Monochromatic Makeup

Last night at the Butter premiere, Ashley Greene proved that monochromatic makeup isn't a boring bet. Her matching pink eyes, cheeks, lips, heels, and Donna Karan dress were ladylike and chic. The key to mastering this palette is to choose different textures. Even though Ashley wore very similar shades, her cheeks were a matte flush, her lips had a glistening gloss, and her eyes were lined with shimmer.

Ashley's flushed look was all tied together by her rosy cheeks. To get a similar effect, extend blush a little above the apples to help link the color to the eye makeup.
