Yep, never share make up, and be very careful with mascara. It is best to get samples, thats what I give out, because they are more hygenic than testers or demos.

Ha, I thought question 5 was a trick question but I still answered it correctly. Also I didn't know that you have to replace liquid foundation every 3 months! Soon I have to buy a new one.

Addressing Vienvien's comment:Some makeup artists carry around makeup remover wipes to clean off their brushes speedily, or brush cleansing wipes/sprays. Products such as these are available at MAC and Sephora.

I didn't know about the liquid foundation...now I know why they come in smaller-than-usual cosmetic packs...wow I'm stupid.

Some of the guidelines for tossing makeup seem to work in favor of the cosmetics companies...that's not a mistake. These are guidelines set by the industry and not by an independent body so take that for what's it worth.
