How Would You Schedule Your Skin?

I love hypothetical questions — the sillier, the better. Here's a ridiculous one that sometimes pops into my head when I can't sleep.

If you absolutely had to choose, would you rather:

Have moderate acne for the rest of your life, with the pimples spread out over time?
OR: Have all of your lifetime's acne pop up in one pustule-filled year, then experience clear skin until the day you die?

i chose spread out. i would be too scared at scarring with having it all at one time.

it was hard, but i decided that year would be REALLY painful. some acne hurts a lot, and all over my face 24/7... makes me shiver. so i chose over time

I haven't suffered from acne yet, so I'm leery about my skin. It's not perfect porcelain skin, but it's acne-free for the time being. As for the scheduling, I'd rather deal with it in a year. Hey, it's only 365 days, and you can attempt to cover it up with makeup... :makeup:

As a proud *cough* owner of an extremely capricious acne & co. prone skin, I'd gladly take it all in one year and live happily ever after once the phase is out. The novelty of fighting for clear skin wears off fast. -_-

i had horrible skin for 4 years of college! then now its just minor. maybe a zit or two that time of the month. but yes i gladly would have condensed it all into one year and then gone free the rest of my life! it couldn't have been all that much worse than my skin was back then anyways!

As someone who suffers from acne and has for 8 years or so (my mom still has acne) I'd much rather have it all in one year and have clear skin for the rest of my life. It would be a hard year but I'm pretty clever with the concealer.

I have had acne since I was 12. It was the worse kind a person can have.. the cystic kind. I have the scars still to prove it. This is even afer having facial photo laser treatments. I still have to see a dermo every three months and still have to use medicines that require an Rx. Having acne for one year and never again... seems like a dream to me.

I'm 23 years old and just started getting really bad acne about 6 months ago. I pray that I only have 6 months left of it. I would easily stop complaining if i knew it would only last 1 year!!!!!!!

ive had acne since i was about 13... and i'im almost 21. ive tried everything in the world including accutane (that helped but i still dont have clear skin like my friends who've never had a problem) i wouldve killed to have one year of severe acne... i had about 5 years of it anyway.

i feel like i've had both! i had 2 years of absolutely atrocious, painful acne, but it's manageable (although persistent) now... but i have a sneaking suspicion i'll have at least some acne for life.

I'd rather have it spread out over my lifetime.... a lot easier to cover a pimple here or there as opposed to everything at once.

I had some friends a few years back with the worst acne I've ever seen, and I would never want to go through what they did. It was a constant worry and job for them... A year is a long time to deal with it and I don't get many blemishes anyhow.

As much as I'd like to never have PMSacne ever again, if I had all of it in one year, then I would have to find someone else's acne to pick at.Though if it was horrible for a year, I would get some nice ones to pop...

I'm used to moderate amounts of acne all the time. If I could just have one horrible year and then never worry about it again..heck yes, I'd do that!!

I had a really BAD year (2006/2007 school year) where my skin literally exploded. I realized it was due to taking an antidepressant medication (zoloft) because as soon as I stopped it, Clear Skin!! I still get some hormonal and stress breakouts, proactiv and/or differin gel help keep it clear.

let's just get it over with-one year sounds good. My skin isn't horrible but the stress and money I spend over this annoyance is just ridiculous. One year wouldn't be bad- I'd just be extremely antisocial and save electricity by keeping the lights very low!
