Hunger Games Nail Polish Collection by China Glaze

The Hunger Games is one of most buzzed about movies of the year, and now this best selling book series has been turned into a nail polish collection by China Glaze. Inspired by the twelve districts of Panem, this Capitol cool polishes will have any tribute looking their best just in time for the games to begin. Bronze, pewter and pink are just some of the shades that are cooked up by the Capitol but we're gonna highlight a few that you'll wanna get your hands on. Now if you're a glitter fan, I say, make this polish your next manicure choice. It's called Electrify, and it's a red, gold sparkly mix. It kind of reminds me of Katniss' fire dress and it's really eye catching and glitzy. You can imagine somebody on the prep team sitting it on a tribune. Since it's a glitter, make sure to apply 3 coats so that your nails don't look sparse. Riveting really leaves up to it's name. It's a bright orange that pops on the nail and it's pretty festive for spring. It's definitely the boldest of the bunch and has as wow factor. Kind of like Katniss' play nail design that she gets before she goes into the game. If you only try one polish make it stone cold it's dark cuter and look sultry and sexy on but the cool thing about it, is that it's actually a mat polish. It looks shimmery in the bottle but when applied, glides on beautifully and dries velvety finish. Finally, Luxe and Lush look like shards of glass and diamonds, which make it a perfect topcoat for any of the other colors in the collection. It takes a little practice to get it just right though. Instead of sliding the brush over the nail, pat it, that way you get more glitter flakes in your manicure. There are eight more where those came from which debut in stores on March first.
