In a move that will likely leave you shocked, just shocked, the star-faced teenager has confessed that she made her whole sob story up. Previously, Kimberley Vlaminck claimed that she'd fallen asleep while a tattoo artist inked 56 stars on her face (rather than the three she'd requested). But as details of her story began to wither under scrutiny, Vlaminck revealed the truth.
It's not as though she decided to come clean on her own, though; she inadvertently confessed while being filmed by a hidden camera. "I asked for 56 stars and initially adored them," she said in front of a TV crew. "But when my father saw them, he was furious. So I said I fell asleep and the that the tattooist had made a mistake."
The tattoo artist in question, Rouslan Toumaniantz, had always maintained that Vlaminck wanted all 56 stars. Threatened with a lawsuit, he maintained his innocence but offered to pay for half the cost of laser tattoo-removal treatment. "Kimberley is unhappy and it is not my wish to have an unsatisfied client," he'd said. Now he's taken that offer off the table, but it remains to be seen whether the star-faced liar will keep the ink.

Full Circle
Oh, who saw that one coming? /end sarcasm
1she didn't even keep up the lie that long!
2her story had even more holes than her face had stars
Whoa, no sh!t.
3That tattoo artist deserves a public apology.
rigormortis- definitely.
4it was so good of him to say he'd pay towards the removal even though he did nothing wrong.
i hope it's not damaged his reputation too much
I don't think it'll damage his reputation at all. She's the one who comes off like an idiot. He was gracious about the whole thing.
5hahahaha. fell asleep during a 56-star tattoo...on her FACE nonetheless. so dumb. total fail.
6Not surprised at all. I hope the removal hurts like all get out.
7She lied? Really? I can't believe it. What am I going to find out next? Unicorns aren't real?
8:snicker:
9Ha, I knew it. Some of my friends thought she might not have been lying when I told them about this, but there was just no way. What a little witch.
10What is with kids these days? Maybe she was scared of her father's disapproval... and obviously immature. I also wonder if the father pushed her into the press.
11Wow! I am so surprised I really believed that she could have asked for only three stars and then some villainous tattoo artist would hover over her as she slept and waste time and money to destroy her face with an additional 53 stars!
She's a dipsh*t!
12yeah we are all shocked....that she finally stopped lying
13that's dumb
14While I think it's ridiculous that she lied about this, I would hope most tattoo artists would be intelligent enough not to ink such a prominent piece on someone so young, or someone who didn't already have a lot of ink and know what they were getting themselves into. Unfortunately it's one of the downsides of working with the public; sometimes you have to protect them from their idiotic selves.
15I agree, DestinyA — if I were a tattoo artist, I probably would have said, "Why don't we start with two and have you live with it for a week, then come back." Then again, what the customer wants, the customer gets...
16DestinyA, but maybe she does like it and now she can stop pretending she doesn't. She did say she only lied because of her father. Plus if it's anyone's responsibility it's her fathers for letting her get a tattoo at all, especially so without him being in the room.
17If it were my kid, I'd definitely sit in on it just to make sure nothing went wrong. Funny how he didn't ask her what she was gonna get beforehand.
18wow, that guy was waay too nice to her.
19Stupid people getting press like this... gah!
20She is a sick person. She needs to learn to communicate with her parents.
21the tattoo artist is a saint.
22i would not have handled the situation as well as he did if i was in his position.
I agree, ladyisadorable — he seems like a good guy.
23Thank goodness, I can sleep tonight knowing it was all a little fib - what a stupid, idiotic, moron of a person.
24I said it before and I'll say it again "Only a dad would of believed that tale."
She looks a hot mess and she probably knew that before she left the tattoo shop.
25Wow I'm shocked.
26she needs to take those cheap ass stars off her face. she looks like an idiot.
27clew001, if you've seen any of the full length pictures that came up previously, the stars on her face are only part of the reason she looks like an idiot.
28That is unfortunate that a professionals credibility was put in question because a young person decided to do something stupid. I am glad she finally came clean and admitted that she loved the work as she requested it. She needs to deal with her father without all the dishonesty.
29and i agree with DestinyA
30IT DOESN'T MATTER...LIE ,TRUTH, NO TATTOO ARTIST SHOULD HAVE DONE THIS.....IT'S MUTILATION ...
31What a suprise
32But, why want 56 stars on your face at such a young age?
Are you kidding me? She lied?
33I figured something was fishy with that story...who the heck FALLS ASLEEP when you're only getting three stars, much less ON YOUR FACE? And how do you go from 3 to 56? That was a straight-up lie.
I think she should have to live with them for the rest of her life for being so stupid. Or, if SHE really wants the laser removal, make HER pay for it. Because it's going to be A LOT - IF she can even get all of them off!
Just dumb.
34Hilarious. How could you stay asleep while getting something tattooed on your damn FACE anyhow?
35Duh!! Totally knew she was lying from the get go. I am glad that she finally came clean, she does deserve kudos for that, little late though.
36That tattoo artist deserves more than an apology, that cow could have ruined his reputation ergo his business.
37Ha! I knew she was lying. But I apreciate her effort to tell the truth after all the drama caused on the media!
38misslix, thats exactly what I was thinking the whole time.. I knew she was lying.
Poor girl. So messed up.
Loving the tattoo guy though! Classy
39Wow, big surprise...
The tattoo artist deserves the biggest d*mn apology for the mess she caused. And the girl needs to learn to speak the truth and stand up for her own actions. It took a hidden camera to reveal he lie (though everyone already suspected/knew her claim was false.) Ugh.
40Go figure...
41wow......what a way to lie
42The tattoo artist, Rouslan Toumaniantz, is absolutely brilliant. He knew, as we all did, that she was lying, and played it completely cool, knowing that the truth would come out. And, now, look at all the advertising and praise he's gotten, for being a class act. He still deserves a public apology, but I think he came out quite well. Good for him!
43Why would someone do that to a clean face? she woke up one day and said:"i feel like dirtying my face 2day." now she regrets having done that. Some of us want clean skin, the rest want to destroy their skin. She was stupid and immature she should live with it or pay for the removal.
44Seriously. What a stupid tattoo. I agree with pretty much everyone over here. The tattoo artist could've realised that the customer was way too young BUT that's what she requested and it was really low of her to publicly lie about it all. I do think the artist was very gracious about the situation, too.
45What a ridiculous tattoo. Why do kids make such stupid decisions all the time?
46As soon as this story came out my first thought was "Are you serious????" 56 stars on her face and she feel ASLEEP?!?!?!?!?!? Then I read on and I realized she was ignorant and need to be smacked around a few times. The artist was just doing as she requested. The fact that her father flipped out, well looky there, Imagine that!!! My father would of kicked me out of the house. Hell, he freaked when he saw my first tattoo at 20 and I was out of his house.
