Love It or Hate It? Jennifer Connelly's Costume Institute Gala Look

Besides the slight silver sheen on Jennifer Connelly's eyes, she went with a very bare-bones look. There's a minor red flush on her cheeks and there's definitely a subtle glow to her lips, but I think Jennifer went a little too "day" for this evening event. The Costume Institute Gala is all about drama, and Jennifer seems to be lacking some oomph on the face. Do you agree?

She needs more base. Look at that vein on her forehead. She looks like she spent the whole day in the sun, very red and leathery. Her brows really need help too.

Jennifer is so beautiful, this was definitely a misstep. I really don't like matte white eyeshadow on ANYONE at ANYTIME.
