Jessica Simpson has had some rough times as of late, but she seems to be keeping a positive attitude. Kudos to that. At the Academy of Country Music Awards nominations, she sported some dark eye makeup, peachy lips, and a truly impressive updo. From the front, it looks like any old pulled-back hairdo, but in the back it's actually quite intricate, woven into a low-slung style. What do you think of this twisted look?

i absolutely love it. although, i think the effect would be completely lost in my own hair, seeing as how it's jetblack and the highlights are what really let you see the intricacy of the weaving.i can dream, though..

That's the sort of look that only works on blondes and people with highlights - I have black hair, so none of the weaving would show, i would look like a lumpy bun.

I don't love the front, I think they should have done something different with the top part, right above her forehead...but I think the back/side view is beautiful, love it!
