Finally Jessica Simpson has married her longtime fiancé, Eric Johnson. While many people have been gabbing about her weight loss and gushing over her custom Carolina Herrera gown, we can't stop talking about her chic half-up hairstyle from the ceremony. Roque Jimenez, Jessica's bridal stylist, described the look to People as "sexy, easy, and ethereal."

Getting the look started six months before the actual nuptials. Her colorist Rita Hazan began lightening the shade and adding highlights every few weeks to get the most natural hue possible. "I wanted her hair to be timeless, so the color was more of a baby blond [to match] Maxwell's color, with subtle highlights that blend into her hair," Hazan told People. At home, Jessica used Ultimate Shine Gloss in Breaking Brass ($26) to maintain the bright blond shade.

The front section of her long platinum locks was smoothed back with a touch of volume at the crown, and the rest of her hair cascaded down in loose curls. The entire style was visible through Jessica's sheer drop veil, which also left her purple smoky eye on display. Overall, her makeup look was romantic and subtle. Makeup artist Karan Mitchell left her lips nude and contoured her cheeks. The entire look was reminiscent of the half-up hairdo Jessica wore for her marriage to Nick Lachey back in 2002. However, this new look was devoid of the girlish curls and sparkling barrettes.

For her bridal manicure, nail guru Tom Bachik created a custom mix to match Jessica's wedding gown. "I probably went back and forth like 20 times that morning to look at the dress in the bedroom and match the color," he told People. The final hue was a combination of taupe, tan, and gold shimmer. Bachik also painted neutral manicures and pedicures on all Jessica's bridesmaids including her sister, Ashlee Simpson.
