Looking back on past Costume Institute Galas, it's clear to see that Kate Bosworth prefers an Old Hollywood beauty look for her inspiration, from her flapper-inspired hairdo back in 2007 to her Veronica Lake-style waves of last year. So as not to break with tradition, the actress chose a retro, waved hairstyle yet again, but paired it with a more modern makeup palette.
