Kate Hudson Is the New Face of Almay

It's the time of year when brands reveal their new celebrity spokespeople, and Revlon just announced that it's signed Kate Hudson to be the face of Almay. It's a pairing that makes a lot of sense to me, especially since Almay has had a more eco-friendly line of products out for a couple of years now, and Kate's known for her natural, sunny California girl looks.

What do you think? Is this a good match, or do celebrity spokespeople even matter when you're buying makeup?

I agree w/bohokitty. Most celebs advertise non organic and not eco friendly cosmetics. Is it because they don't get offers from those companies or because they offer too little? I wonder.

it doesn't matter who the celeb spokes person is..we all know they promote it cos they get paid for it, its not like they actually use drugstore makeup!

I don't think it really matters. I love Kate and I'm not really a fan of Almay's products. I'm not going to be more inclined to buy something just because I like a celeb who's advertising it. I would be more likely to try/purchase something because it's eco - friendly.
