As soon as Kate Moss decided to cut her hair into fringey bangs, other fashion-plate stars like Nicole Richie, Charlize Theron and even Carmen Electra almost immediately followed suit. As we know, this is a great bang choice for those with round faces, but I am willing to bet this is just the beginning of fringe mania. What do you make of these 70's-inspired wispy hairstyles?

Kate Moss hardly invented the style. Even recently, Reese Witherspoon has had bangs for a while now. Hers look great on her, by the way. Kate's not so much. Nicole looks decent. But she's also had bangs for a while. They were to the side, though. Kate just looks sloppy. They have to be done very neat, straight. Or swept to the side.

Nova... same here.. dark brown/black hair, v. b.page... and how can you not love it!? I had bangs when I was little and hated my round, chubby face w/ them... But now... with them cut super short and straight they square out my face and I like that. I cut them in August though, I'll be surprised if they fully last a year. I change my hair pretty often.

Jeesh! So now, I'm a trendsetter, I guess. I got my hair cut in the "Reese-Witherspoon" style about a year ago, and now... it kind of grew out into this one! Score! :D

love bangs on these girls, but i find with my everyday on the go life, they get so greasy!! i just have sideswept longer bangs i guess you would call them so i can pull them back if i want or tuck them behind my ears..but these girls look fab!

i love bangs, i do i have bangs, but what's up with this?? if one person in hollywood gets a haircut, the entire tinseltown has to get them too! ( as in the girls, not boys) what happened to standing out? unique? guess not hollywood.

Bangs are cute, I personally never want them again though. Maybe just a few but that's it. I had bangs for almost all my life...didn't grow them out until I was around 19/20...I just can't do it again.

i got bangs just a couple of months ago and its the first time i have actually loved how my hair looks. it's great, and i have something framing my (round) face so i don't feel so out there. i love my bangs! lol.

i'm seeing my stylist tomorrow (after a six week wait to get an appointment!) with the sole purpose of getting some wispy bangs like this. i'm not trying to follow the trend so much as to cover up my huge forehead. =/

I had a version of the Kate/Nicole hair literally 1 year ago-its not easy to make it look good, and I have round face. I'm so happy with my long layers now!!

No, that's wrong. I cut my bangs first! .. theyre gone by now, thank god. dont wanna be a 'wannabe' and kate looks bad, she had suuch an amazing hair, she should have dyed her hair darker and would be awesome. If she wanted to change the look.

secret why dont you straighten just the bangs, i've cut them for people with curly, curly (like jewish curly) hair and a little muse and the right cut can do wonders

I have bangs...my hair is very Bettie Page style. LOVE LOVE LOVE them!! My face is more square than round but it really works for me. I could never wear a ponytail before i got them...now it looks great. They frame my face soooo nicely. Oh...and Katie Holmes just cut her hair into a cute bob with bangs too....it looks really good in my opinion. I'm so sick of seeing that stupid weird posh-bob out there on every girl. Im just not a fan of short hair. :D

oY..i have bangs now...but not by choice..the cut i got was so bad, i cut my bangs shorter, and now..well, lets just say no one is going to be calling me a trendsetter anytime soon!!

I'm not a huge fan of bangs or Kate Moss. The fact she is mentioned as a trendsetter is beyond me. The fact she commands the salary/contracts/endorsements she does, is beyond me. She looks sickly.

I love bangs on everyone but me because I have curly hair, and it just doesn't work. Otherwise...they're great. They hide forehead wrinkles and frame the face, which is awesome.
