Katie Holmes is great at low-key glamour, and tonight her look at the VMAs is no exception. Her dress is a simple peach midlength piece with black lace overlay and a thick band at the waist to create pretty proportions. Her camel lace-up booties don't match the dress but also don't clash. Beauty wise, she's wearing long, soft waves and natural-looking makeup. She's almost always subtle, but given some of the other looks we've seen come down the black carpet at this show, do you think it's a little informal?
