Over the weekend, the singer revealed her new shoulder-skimming cut and layered fringe, shortly after snapping a picture for Instagram [3]. It’s no secret that Perry loves experimenting with her look, constantly drawing inspiration from the films, books, and TV shows she’s currently loving. “Comic books, Blade Runner, Lolita — so many inspirations come into play when I’m doing my hair and makeup,” the star told InStyle previously. “Every morning I think, who am I going to be today?” While the jury is still out on Perry’s most-recent hair muse, we’re getting a slight ’20s-era Louise Brooks feel from the short length and face-framing bangs, while the tousled texture holds a ’90s grunge vibe.
