Katy Perry Gets Purr-verted

Katy Perry's new fragrance Purr may well smell like a sexified version of all my preteenage dreams (aka Lisa Frank fantasies) if her new ad is anything to go by. Katy's never been one to get overly serious about things, and it's certainly in keeping with the overblown "goofy sexpot" aesthetic she favors. But it's also a little odd for a fragrance, which usually trades on images of sophistication or beauty. What do you think? Is this ad refreshingly campy and fun, or will you be passing on Purr when it bows in November?

while the image is cute fun and campy, I would judge the perfume like all other perfumes.. by their smell.. If an ad is beautiful but the perfume stinks themn bLIUEGH. if the ad is boring but the scent is just right, then that's all I need. I personally use Cartier Delices and DKNY Green Apple. and their ads are nothing to write home about but both scents are perfect for me.

Whaaaat? how is dressing in a fun costume and putting out a cat-themed -perfume- dehumanising? And to -all- women at that? :/ As for the article, sure, I'd try this, although I'd smell it first : P

I wouldn't necessarily associate the decription of the scent with Katy Perry, but would seek it out for what the description was... sounds beautiful!
