Katy Perry recently tweeted this picture of her new manicure, saying, "Diamonds ARE girl best friend." Cookie Monster cadence aside, she may be on to something. What do you think of the sparkling nails that she sported at the MTV Europe Music Awards? Would you wear them, or is this strictly a pop-star look?

I just had my nails like that a few months ago, of course they weren't real diamonds but I rolled with the rhinestones real cute but those rhinestones cost

When I was a lot younger I would paint my nails and then sprinkle glitter on them to make it ultra sparkly rather than buying polish with glitter mixed it. Really cool look, but definitely not for the mature working woman.

Cute for Katy Perry. For me..not so much. Besides, I'm lucky to go through a single day without chipping my nail polish - do you know how fast I'd lose those "diamonds"?! There'd be a trail of them everywhere I went.

Def would wear the manicure. it's either you can handle the attention or not because that's what they are for. Up and coming into mainstream fashion are Minx. you ready for it I am...even lady gaga had a designed manicure with checkers in her video Just Dance....loved it!
